What RugFrame Passport Ledger Does
RugFrame Passport Ledger lets you create, edit, duplicate, search, filter, and delete rug passports; attach photos; record framing and mounting details; track a condition timeline (damage, repair, cleaning, maintenance, inspection); record provenance and valuation notes; export a PDF passport; and back up or restore your records as JSON.
No Account Needed
RugFrame Passport Ledger does not require you to create an account or sign in. All records are stored locally on your device.
Creating and Managing Rug Passports
Tap the + button on the Rugs tab to create a new rug passport. Swipe left on a rug in the list to delete it; a brief Undo option appears after deletion. Use the menu on a rug’s detail page to edit, duplicate, or export it as a PDF.
Condition Timeline
On a rug’s detail page, tap the + next to Condition Timeline to add a dated record of damage, repair, cleaning, maintenance, or inspection.
Backup and Restore
In Settings, use Export Backup (JSON) to save all your rug passports to a file you control, and Restore Backup to load a previously exported file. Restoring validates the file before making any changes; if the file is invalid, your existing data is left untouched.
Pro Purchase and Restore
RugFrame Passport Ledger Pro purchases (Monthly, Yearly, or Lifetime) and restore flows are handled by Apple StoreKit. Use Restore Purchases in Settings if you previously purchased Pro on the same Apple ID.
Data Stored on Device
Because records are stored locally, you are responsible for your own device backups (including the app’s JSON export feature) and for managing sensitive information you choose to store, such as valuations or certificate numbers.
