Terms of Use for Typewriter Cabinet, a local-first collection and service passport for vintage typewriters, by E Stream Media Empire.
These Terms of Use apply to Typewriter Cabinet. By using the app, you are responsible for the records you enter, the conclusions you draw from them, and where you save or share exported files. Where the Apple Standard End User License Agreement applies to an App Store download, it applies in addition to these product-specific terms unless a required local consumer protection rule says otherwise.
Purpose of the app
Typewriter Cabinet helps collectors record vintage typewriter machine identity, typeface specimens, service history, acquisition and provenance notes, photos, PDF handoff reports, and local JSON/CSV backups and exports for collection recordkeeping.
Your responsibility for records
You are responsible for checking machine data, typeface specimens, service history, provenance notes, photos, exported handoff reports, and backup files before relying on them. Keep independent backups where needed.
No appraisal, authenticity, or repair-certification advice
Typewriter Cabinet is an informational recordkeeping utility. It is not an appraisal service, authenticity certification, serial-number lookup database, marketplace, repair-certification authority, or a guarantee that a machine is authentic, valuable, safe to operate, or in any particular condition. All condition, ribbon, and cleaning statuses are entered and maintained by you, the user.
Exports and backups
Exports and backup files are controlled by you after creation. Anyone you send a file to may be able to read its machine identity, specimen, service history, provenance, and photo information. You are responsible for retaining any backup you need.
Paid features and subscriptions
Typewriter Cabinet may offer Pro access through Annual or Lifetime products (no monthly subscription). Renewals, cancellation, refunds, restore behavior, and displayed prices are handled by Apple where the app is distributed through the App Store. Backup, restore, import, CSV export, and deletion of your own data remain available at no cost regardless of subscription status.
