Typewriter Cabinet Privacy
Privacy Policy
Privacy information for Typewriter Cabinet, a local-first collection and service passport for vintage typewriters.
This Privacy Policy applies to Typewriter Cabinet ("Typewriter Cabinet", "the app"). Typewriter Cabinet helps collectors keep local records of vintage typewriters, including machine identity and specifications, typeface specimens, service history, acquisition and provenance notes, photos, PDF handoff reports, and JSON/CSV backups and exports.
Local-first records
Typewriter Cabinet is designed around records stored on your device. The app does not require an account, developer-operated cloud sync, or a developer server database for your machine records.
Information you choose to enter
You may enter machine make, model, year estimate, serial number, body style, keyboard layout, color, and case details; typeface specimen photos, typed samples, and alignment/impression/ribbon notes; service event dates, categories, costs, repair shop names, before/after photos, and notes; acquisition source, purchase date and cost, estate notes, ownership history, and sale/loan notes; and machine photos.
Photos, exports, and backups
Photos are added only when you choose to add them. PDF handoff reports, CSV/JSON exports, share sheets, and JSON backups are created only when you choose to export, share, or back up records. You control where exported files are saved or sent.
No advertising, tracking, or developer analytics
The current app does not use advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, location tracking, account sign-in, or developer-operated telemetry for Typewriter Cabinet records.
Purchases and Restore Purchases
Optional Pro access (Annual or Lifetime, no monthly subscription) and Restore Purchases are handled through Apple StoreKit where available. E Stream Media Empire does not receive full payment card details from Apple purchase flows.
No appraisal, authenticity, or valuation guarantee
Typewriter Cabinet records user-entered information for your own collection. It is not an appraisal service, authenticity certification authority, serial-number lookup database, or a guarantee of a machine's value, authenticity, or condition.
