Privacy Policy
Privacy information for SubDesk Binder, a local-first substitute-teacher day-packet builder for iPhone and iPad.
This Privacy Policy applies to SubDesk Binder ("the app"). SubDesk Binder helps teachers build, reuse, and export substitute-teacher day packets, including classroom profiles, schedules, instructions, seating and resource notes, and contact information.
No account required
SubDesk Binder does not require you to create an account or sign in. There is no username, password, or login system anywhere in the app.
Local-first storage
Substitute day packets, reusable classroom profiles, schedules, instructions, seating charts, resource notes, and contact entries are stored locally on your device using Apple SwiftData. SubDesk Binder does not operate a developer server that automatically receives, stores, or syncs this content.
Sensitive classroom and student content
Because SubDesk Binder is built for classroom handoff, you may enter classroom, student, or contact-related notes as part of a day packet. This content is used only to power the app's core packet-building and export features, stays on your device, and is not automatically collected by E Stream Media or transmitted to a developer server.
Photos and attachments
SubDesk Binder only accesses your photo library or files when you choose to attach a photo, document, or resource to a packet. Attachments you add are stored locally with the packet unless you export or share them yourself.
Backup, import, export, and sharing
Backup, Restore, Import, and PDF export are all actions you start yourself. When you export a packet as a PDF, create a backup file, or share a packet through iOS system sharing, you choose the destination. If you send an export or backup to another app, person, or service, that content is then subject to the privacy practices of wherever you sent it.
No ads, analytics, or tracking
SubDesk Binder does not include advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, or cross-app/cross-site tracking of any kind.
Purchases handled by Apple
SubDesk Binder Pro (auto-renewable Monthly or Yearly subscription, or a one-time Lifetime unlock) is sold and processed by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. E Stream Media does not receive your full payment card or bank details from Apple's purchase flow.
Your choices
You can edit or delete any packet, profile, schedule, or contact entry inside the app, delete a packet's attachments, remove local app data by deleting the app, and manage notification permissions through iOS Settings.
Children and student information
SubDesk Binder is a professional tool intended for use by adult teachers and school staff. Any student names or classroom notes entered into the app are entered by the adult user at their own discretion and judgment, and remain the user's responsibility to handle in line with their school's own policies.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as SubDesk Binder changes. The effective date below reflects the most recent update.
