Privacy policy for HoofCycle: Farrier Log, a local-first hoof care and farrier visit record app.

Summary: HoofCycle stores horse profiles, farrier visits, and hoof photos on your device. It has no account requirement, no developer backend, no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs, and no tracking SDKs.

This Privacy Policy applies to HoofCycle: Farrier Log ("HoofCycle", "the app"). HoofCycle helps horse owners and barn managers record farrier visits, track hoof care cycles, attach hoof photos, and monitor upcoming care dates.

Data Collection

HoofCycle is a local-first app. No account is required. Horse profiles, farrier visit records, hoof photo sets, cycle notes, and settings are stored on your device. HoofCycle does not operate a developer server sync service.

Hoof Photos

When you attach hoof photos to a visit record, those photos are saved as files on your device. HoofCycle does not upload photos to any developer server. Photo access requires your permission, which you grant through your device settings.

Ads, Analytics, Tracking, and Location

HoofCycle does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, or location data collection.

Exports and Backups

If your HoofCycle build includes export or backup tools, they are user-initiated. You are responsible for where you save, send, or store any exported files.

In-App Purchases

Optional Pro purchases are processed by Apple App Store. HoofCycle and E Stream Media Empire do not receive your payment card details. Subscription management is handled through your Apple ID settings.

No Veterinary or Farrier Advice

HoofCycle is a record-keeping and reminder utility. It does not provide veterinary advice, farrier diagnosis, treatment guidance, or emergency advice. Always consult a qualified farrier or veterinarian for hoof care decisions.

Children's Privacy

HoofCycle is a general record-keeping utility and is not designed for children under 13.

Your Choices

You can edit or delete records inside the app, manage or revoke photo and camera permissions through your device settings, uninstall the app to remove local data, or contact us with any privacy question.

Changes

This policy may be updated as HoofCycle changes. The effective date will be updated when material changes are made.
