What InkPair Lab does

InkPair Lab helps fountain pen users keep a private compatibility journal for pens, nibs, inks, papers, dry time observations, ratings, notes, cleaning history, and optional writing sample photos.

Local records and backups

InkPair Lab is designed as a local-first app. Records stay on the device unless the user chooses to export a summary or JSON backup through the system share sheet. Users should keep their own backups before deleting the app or changing devices.

Writing sample photos

If writing sample photos do not appear as expected, check iOS photo or camera permission settings, confirm there is enough device storage, and try adding or replacing the sample again.

Purchases and Restore Purchases

If Pro access does not appear after purchase or reinstall, use Restore Purchases in the app and confirm the device is signed into the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

What to include in a support email

Include your device model, iOS version, app version if visible, whether the issue affects records, photos, export, restore, or purchases, and screenshots if they help explain the problem. Do not send passwords, payment card numbers, private keys, or sensitive records through support email.
