Terms of Use
Terms for BoardTrace, a local-first board bring-up and handoff record utility for test points, readings, exports, and backups.

These Terms of Use apply to BoardTrace. By using the app, you are responsible for the records you enter, the conclusions you draw from them, and where you save or share exported files.
Purpose of the app
BoardTrace helps users record boards, test points, observation sessions, readings, review/adoption state, checksums, cloned revisions, exports, and local backups for bench workflow recordkeeping.
Your responsibility for records
You are responsible for checking board data, expected values, tolerances, readings, session status, exports, and backup files before relying on them. Keep independent backups where needed.
No professional or regulatory advice
BoardTrace is an informational recordkeeping utility. It is not certification, professional engineering advice, safety inspection, regulatory compliance, manufacturing release approval, legal advice, or a guarantee that a board or product is safe or fit for use.
Exports and backups
Exports and backup files are controlled by you after creation. Anyone you send a file to may be able to read its board, test point, session, and reading information. You are responsible for retaining any backup you need.
Paid features and subscriptions
BoardTrace may offer Pro access through monthly, yearly, or lifetime products. Subscription renewals, cancellation, refunds, restore behavior, and displayed prices are handled by Apple where the app is distributed through the App Store.
Platform terms
Where the Apple standard End User License Agreement applies to an App Store download, it applies in addition to these product-specific terms unless a required local consumer protection rule says otherwise.
