Privacy information for HomeschoolLog: Planner, a local-first homeschool planning and record book app for parent-led education.
This Privacy Policy applies to HomeschoolLog: Planner ("HomeschoolLog", "the app"). HomeschoolLog helps parents or guardians record attendance, learning hours, subjects, reading, activities, portfolio notes, and school-year summaries using information stored locally on the device.
No account required
HomeschoolLog does not require users to create an account or log in to use the core app.
Local-first homeschool records
User-entered child nicknames, attendance records, learning hours, subjects, reading entries, activity notes, field trip notes, portfolio notes, export preferences, and app settings are designed to stay on the user device.
Nickname-only child records
HomeschoolLog is designed for parent-managed records. The app does not require a child account, child email, real child legal name, birthdate, school district, address, government ID, or public profile.
No developer server, ads, analytics, or tracking
The current HomeschoolLog app plan does not include a developer-operated server for app data, advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, account sync, cloud database sync, social sharing, or public user profiles.
Purchases handled by Apple or Google Play
HomeschoolLog Pro monthly, yearly, or lifetime purchases are handled by Apple StoreKit or Google Play Billing where available. E Stream Media Empire does not receive full payment card details from platform purchase flows.
Exports and sharing
If users export homeschool records, the user controls the destination. Users should review exported files before sharing them with another person, organization, school, district, agency, or storage service.
No legal, state-compliance, medical, or official reporting advice
HomeschoolLog records user-entered homeschool planning and recordkeeping information. It does not provide legal, state compliance, educational, tax, special-education, medical, therapy, or official reporting advice. Parents remain responsible for following their local homeschool requirements.
