Privacy information for BoardTrace, a local-first bench record app for test-point readings, board sessions, exports, and backups.

This Privacy Policy applies to BoardTrace ("BoardTrace", "the app"). BoardTrace helps users keep local records for boards, test points, observation sessions, readings, review/adoption history, exports, and backups.

Local-first records

BoardTrace is designed around records stored on the device. The app does not require an account, developer-operated cloud sync, or a developer server database for board and reading records.

Information you choose to enter

You may enter board names, board revisions, test-point names, units, expected values, tolerances, reading values, session notes, adoption status, clone/version-chain references, and related bench workflow notes.

Exports and backups

BoardTrace includes user-initiated JSON backup/restore and handoff exports where available. JSON backup files include validation data such as schema version and checksum. PDF and CSV exports are created only when you choose to export or share them, and you control the destination.

No advertising, tracking, or developer analytics

The current app does not use advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, location tracking, account sign-in, or developer-operated telemetry for core BoardTrace records.

Purchases and Restore Purchases

Optional Pro purchases, subscriptions, lifetime access, and Restore Purchases are handled through Apple StoreKit where available. E Stream Media Empire does not receive full payment card details from Apple purchase flows.

No certification or engineering approval

BoardTrace records user-entered observations. It is not a safety certification system, professional engineering approval, regulatory compliance tool, production acceptance authority, or substitute for qualified professional judgment.
