Privacy Policy
Privacy information for InkPair Lab, a local-first fountain pen compatibility journal for private Pen x Ink x Paper notes.
This Privacy Policy applies to InkPair Lab ("InkPair Lab", "the app"). InkPair Lab helps users keep private fountain pen compatibility notes, material records, ratings, cleaning history, and optional writing sample photos on their device.
Local-first records
InkPair Lab stores user-created pen, nib, ink, paper, compatibility test, cleaning, rating, favorite, archive, and note records on the user device in the current build. The app does not require an account.
No developer server, ads, analytics, or tracking
The current InkPair Lab app plan does not include a developer-operated server for app data, advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, account sync, cloud database sync, or public user profiles.
Photos and camera
InkPair Lab may ask for photo library or camera access only when the user chooses to add a local writing sample or object photo. Selected or captured images are stored locally in the app container and are not uploaded to an E Stream Media Empire server by InkPair Lab.
Purchases handled by Apple
Optional InkPair Lab Pro purchases are handled by Apple StoreKit and App Store purchase systems where available. E Stream Media Empire does not receive full payment card details from Apple purchase flows.
Exports and backups
InkPair Lab lets users export summaries or JSON backup archives through the iOS system share sheet. The user chooses where exported files go and should review exported content before sharing it with another person, organization, service, or app.
Personal observation disclaimer
InkPair Lab is a recordkeeping utility for personal fountain pen observations. It does not provide calibrated color measurement, archival advice, chemical compatibility advice, pen maintenance guarantees, manufacturer care instructions, or professional conservation guidance.
